Satellite Awards 2007: i vincitori

Sono stati resi noti qualche giorno fa i vincitori dei Satellite Awards 2007, premi decisi da una giuria di 200 noti giornalisti. Nella sezione che ci riguarda, quella televisiva, è stato un trionfo assoluto di Dexter, che è riuscito a portarsi a casa sia il premio come migliore serie drama che quello per il miglior protagonista, il fantastico e da me amatissimo Michael C. Hall. A questi due premi importanti, aggiungiamo anche quello di attore non protagonista assegnato a David Zayas, interprete del detective Angel Batista, collega nonché amico fidato di Dexter Morgan.

Sul versante comedy invece non c’è stato un vero trionfatore, anche se l’awards più importante, quello per la migliore serie, è andato alla recente Pushing Daisies. Due i premi anche per Ugly Betty, quello per attrice protagonista ad America Ferrera e quello per attrice non protagonista a Vanessa Williams, che nella serie ha il ruolo di Wilhelmina Slater.

Rimangono a bocca asciutta molti telefilm (sia drama che comedy) amati dal pubblico e con molte candidature alla vigilia, come ad esempio Brothers and sisters. E cede dopo lungo tempo lo scettro anche il protagonista forse più premiato degli ultimi anni, ossia Hugh Laurie col suo House MD.
