People’s Choice Awards 2017, nomination: domina Grey’s Anatomy, non mancano Stranger Things, Narcos e The Walking Dead

Parola al popolo! Dopo le nomination dei Critics’ Choice Awards, sono state annunciati anche tutti i candidati ai People’s Choice Awards, i premi votati dal popolo, dagli appassionati di cinema e tv. Dopo l’annuncio delle nomination, si sono infatti aperte le votazioni online per tutte le categorie e i vincitori saranno annunciati il 18 gennaio in diretta sulla CBS.

La struttura dei People’s Choice Awards avvicina l’evento a una sorta di festa per gli addetti ai lavori e soprattutto per il pubblico, con tanti beniamini della tv che saranno riuniti nella stessa sala. In particolare la struttura del premio con la suddivisione in Network, Cable e Premium Tv, le categorie dedicate ai crime e allo sci-fi/fantasy, permette anche a chi è più lontano dal mondo dei premi, di sognare una statuetta. Tra le serie tv più nominate ai People’s Choice Awards c’è Grey’s Anatomy con 5 nomination, tra cui Favorite Tv Show insieme a The Big Bang Theory, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead e Outlander, ma anche Favorite Network Drama e per gli attori Jesse Williams, Justin Chambers e Ellen Pompeo. 

Tanti network ma, come anticipato, anche tanta tv cable e premium con nomination per The Americans, Narcos, Queen Sugar, Pretty Little Liars, Shameless e molte altre serie tv. Grazie ai People Choice Awards quasi tutti riescono ad ottenere una nomination, ma ovviamente sarà uno solo a vincere in ogni categoria. Interessanti anche le categorie dedicate nello specifico ai nuovi drama e comedy (e relativi attori) che hanno debuttato nei mesi scorsi, una sorta di riserva indiana della tv generalista per valorizzare le proprie novità.
