ASC Awards 2013 nomination: Game of Thrones, American Horror Story e Fringe tra i candidati

L’American Society of Cinematographers ha annunciato i nominati agli ASC Awards 2013, i premi assegnati alla migliore fotografia televisiva e cinematografica (in questo caso bisognerà attendere il 9 gennaio per conoscere i candidati).

I nomi delle serie tv, come vedrete, sono in parte differenti a quelli che vengono fuori dai premi generalisti (Emmy e Golden Globe su tutti): Nelle tre categorie, miglior episodio di un’ora, miglior episodio di mezzora e migliore film tv/miniserie troviamo infatti prodotti come Hunted e Strike Back (entrambi Cinemax), che evidentemente puntano con forza all’impatto visivo, ma anche Happy Endings e Wilfred. Tra le conferme ci son Mad Men, Game of Thrones e American Horror Story. Le novità sono The New Normal e Ben & Kate. Ricompare Fringe (a mio avviso troppo spesso snobbato negli altri ambiti, nonostante interpreti come John Noble).

Vi ricordiamo che i vincitori della ventisettesima edizione degli ASC Awards saranno annunciati il 10 febbraio a Hollywood & Highland.
